tragically lost his life following the August 4 blast that resulted in the collapse of a hospital roof on top of him, <\/span><b>remains exempted from the official list of victims who died in the blast.<\/b><\/p><p><b>The hospital refused to acknowledge that the blast was the child\u2019s cause of death.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Instead, they claimed that it was caused by a previous condition affecting his liver and did not acknowledge whether the blast exacerbated his condition, delayed his treatment, or simply caused <\/span><b>the ceiling to collapse and crush the child, which led to his death.<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many non-Lebanese survivors and families of victims remain excluded from compensation or simply being registered on the official death list of the August 4 blast. <\/span><b>Many have also reported facing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/concernworldwide\/videos\/1036673056844713\/\">discrimination<\/a> from trafficking.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In conclusion, the article reminds its readers that, while solidarity with survivors of human trafficking is important, it needs with a 4-page <\/span><strong><a 400;\">In a podcast episode on Beirut24, Khauli rejected the integration conditions put on Lebanese public schools by donors.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instead, he<\/span><b> falsely <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">claimed that Syrian children were prioritized over Lebanese children during the teachers\u2019 strikes when in reality, it was the opposite.<\/span><\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.savethechildren.net\/news\/one-million-children-left-without-education-lebanon-after-public-schools-shut-their-doors\">According to Save The Children<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>,<\/strong> \u201cStrikes started on 9 January, with teachers working the \u2018morning shift\u2019, teaching primarily Lebanese children. The following day, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced <\/span><b>the suspension of afternoon classes, which are primarily attended by Syrian refugee students,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in order to prevent tensions.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, The National News <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenationalnews.com\/mena\/lebanon\/2023\/03\/06\/some-lebanese-public-school-teachers-resume-morning-classes\/#:~:text=The%20partial%20end%20of%20the,civil%20war%20in%20neighbouring%20Syria.\">reported<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that \u201cThe partial end of the public school strike on Monday<\/span><b> only pertains to morning shift classes attended by Lebanese pupils,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> but <\/span><b>not the afternoon classes held for the children of refugees<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> who fled the civil war in neighbouring Syria.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lastly, a <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/soas.lau.edu.lb\/news\/2023\/02\/palestinian-and-syrian-refugees-access-to-education-in-lebanon-a.php#:~:text=Consequently%2C%20Lebanon%20is%20facing%20low,been%20to%20school%2C%20UNHCR%20says.\">study<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by the Lebanese American University states that nearly half of the school-aged Syrian children are not enrolled in schools mainly due to <\/span><b>\u201carbitrary rejections by Lebanese schools.\u201d<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Khauli seems to ignore this dire reality of segregation between Lebanese and Syrian children in Schools by <\/span><b>spreading false claims <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">about the \u201cintegration\u201d of Syrians in Lebanon, which is almost non-existent. The Minister of Education previously <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arabnews.com\/node\/2345926\/middle-east\">stated<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that integration of Syrian children with Lebanese children is <\/span><b>\u201cnot feasible\u201d<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One day after the podcast episode release, Khauli called for the<\/span><b> deportation of imprisoned Syrians in Lebanon,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and questioned the progress of <\/span><b>the deportation \u201cplan\u201d <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of Syrian refugees in Lebanon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">His \u201cconcern\u201d over the matter was directed to Prime Minister Najib Mikati and the Minister of Justice Henry Khoury, calling them to \u201creview hosting policies of Syrian refugees and provide safe environments for host communities,<\/span><b> especially from irregular Syrian workers.\u201d<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This reaction came after 4 Syrian workers <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tayyar.org\/News\/Lebanon\/555061\/\">\u062a\u0639\u0631\u0636\u062a\u0627 \u0644\u0625\u0639\u062a\u062f\u0627\u0621<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a Lebanese employer in Baskinta. The ISF opened an investigation, and it hasn\u2019t been reported whether or not the workers were arrested.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, Khauli <\/span><b>took advantage of this incident to incite against all Syrian refugees,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> accusing them of being<\/span><b> \u201cgangs who settled in Lebanon.\u201d<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Khauli is also the founder, and leader of the so-called <\/span><b>\u201cNational Campaign to Liberate Lebanon from the Syrian Demographic Occupation\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: a movement that called for a <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lebanonfiles.com\/articles\/%d8%a3%d8%ae%d8%a8%d8%a7%d8%b1-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b3%d8%a7%d8%b9%d8%a9\/%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%ad%d9%85%d9%84%d8%a9-%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%88%d8%b7%d9%86%d9%8a%d8%a9-%d9%84%d8%aa%d8%ad%d8%b1%d9%8a%d8%b1-%d9%84%d8%a8%d9%86%d8%a7%d9%86-%d9%85%d9%86-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%a7%d8%ad%d8%aa%d9%84\/\">protest<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in April in front of the UNHCR office in Beirut <\/span><b>\u201cin order to combat the insolence of this occupier\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (meaning Syrian refugees). This protest, and counter-protests, were quickly <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/today.lorientlejour.com\/article\/1335602\/mawlawi-forbids-syrian-refugees-from-demonstrating.html\">forbidden<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by the Minister of Interior Bassam Mawlawi.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Khauli\u2019s racist reaction is no surprise to anyone. Highlights included the following:<\/span><\/p><ul><li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nearly <\/span><b>427\u00a0<\/b>migrants and refugees were <strong style=\"font-weight: 400;\">arrested and interrogated<\/strong>;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>412\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">migrants and refugees were <strong>released from detention after interrogation<\/strong>;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Around <strong>2,900<\/strong>\u00a0work visas were <strong>granted<\/strong> to migrant workers mostly from <strong>Ethiopia<\/strong>, <strong>\u0643\u064a\u0646\u064a\u0627<\/strong>, and the <strong>Philippines<\/strong>. There is no information on how many of these work permits were granted to newcomers.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><b>462,015\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">foreigners and migrants
