Situation Brief and Forecasted Needs of Migrant Domestic Workers in Lebanon
Since the 8th of October, Lebanon has been on the brink of a full-scale war. Villages on the southern borders have been repeatedly attacked by Israel, causing the displacement of more than 40,000 of their residents. This brief aims to share information on the current situation of migrant domestic workers in Lebanon following repeated attacks by Israel.
History of Migrant Domestic Workers’ Community Organizing and Class Struggle in Lebanon
This paper historicizes and analyzes the informal community-organizing of migrant domestic workers in Lebanon in addition to providing recommendations and ways forward to support and strengthen their work. This paper is based on research conducted in August and September 2023 with activist migrant domestic workers in Lebanon.

Annual Report 2022
Our Annual Report for 2022 is out! It was a turbulent year for ARM, migrant workers, and refugees in Lebanon as violence towards civil society, activists, and social movements increased.
التقرير السنوي 2021
The context in 2021 was riddled with uncertainties, lockdowns, and fuel and electricity shortages which imposed countless restrictions on our ability to carry out our most basic tasks. 2021 started with one of the strictest national COVID-19 lockdowns globally, with an around-the-clock curfew imposed on all “non-essential” workers. We deemed our work to be more essential now than ever, since Migrant Domestic Workers around the country were struggling to make ends meet, whether these ends were the most basic needs for survival, to find a job and/or a house, or escape an abusive one, or to secure a flight ticket and a passport to go back home.

نعمل في حركة مناهضة العنصرية بجهد على العديد من النشاطات والمبادرات المختلفة. معظم نشاطنا تعدّ في الإمكان بفضل فريق من المتطوعين/ات يعمل مع فريقنا الأساسي بشغف و إخلاص.
حركة مناهضة العنصرية هي حركة شعبيّة أنشأتها جهات شبابيّة ناشطة في لبنان بالتعاون مع عمّال وعاملات أجانب. نعمل معًا في الحركة على توثيق الممارسات العنصرية والتحقيق فيها وفضحها ومحاربتها من خلال مبادرات وحملات عديدة. تمّ إطلاق حركة مناهضة العنصرية عام 2010 عقب حادثة وقعت في أحد أكثر المنتجعات البحرية الخاصّة المعروفة في بيروت.
