• FEMALE is a feminist grass-root collective working with women & girls to eliminate injustice through building a young feminist movement, empowering agents of change, & campaigning together against discriminatory norms & policies. Since the escalation of war on Lebanon, on September 23rd, FEMALE transformed into a humanitarian response to support displaced families, mainly women & children, with emergency items, hygiene kits, food items & psychosocial support. FEMALE’s Beirut & Tripoli offices served as temporary shelters for displaced families and with more than 80 volunteers all over Lebanon, FEMALE is providing direct support in Beirut, Chouf, Mount Lebanon, Tripoli and starting in Bekaa.
