Arabic Language Classes
FINALLY! there has been some demand for Arabic classes, it would be great if you or someone you know who might be interested in teaching Arabic classes at the Migrant Community Center be recruited!! Preferably someone who is very familiar with teaching Arabic. The person interested should contact Priya at the Migrant Community Center since she has been in contact with migrants who are interested in taking Arabic lessons and can best coordinate this.
Level II English Language Class (Need Volunteer by June 16 – Sundays 12 – 2)
This level is filled by a Migrant Workers Task Force volunteer who will be leaving by June 16. If you or anyone you know would be interested in volunteering, I will be holding a gathering at my place this Saturday where fellow English Language and French Language volunteers will be discussing future plans for our Summer Classes beginning the first week-ish of July. This should also give you or the person interested in meeting with Todd to understand what level he is teaching his students and pick up from there. If you or anyone else is interested, please e-mail me at [email protected] to give details!! We have around 3 students who are currently taking level 2 English.
French Classes (Need Volunteers by First Week of July – Sundays – 12 – 2)
Three French teachers teaching on Sundays will be leaving for good by end of June. We need more French teachers for the beginning of Summer classes in July. If you know anyone, let me know!
Spring classes finish by June 24 after which one Sunday will be taken as a break to organize better. If you know anyone interested in teaching language classes at the Migrant Community Center in general, would like to be more involved in the provision of language classes, organizing, coordinating, curriculum development etc. please contact me at [email protected] or call me at 71-293470
Thank you! 🙂
