Dr. Abdel Meneem Musa Ibrahim has been on a hunger strike
since September 26th, 2010. His decision came as a response to the inhuman behavior of the Lebanese police who, on one hand, have dismantled gatherings organized by the Sudanese community to support each other, and on the other, placed 21 Sudanese men in arbitrary detention, with no signs or promises of their release.

The Anti-Racism Movement (ARM) was launched in 2010 as a grassroots collective by young Lebanese feminist activists in collaboration with migrant workers and migrant domestic workers.
