The head of a money exchange agency was summoned for interrogation for a lawsuit for failing to transfer the salary of a migrant domestic worker after refusing to accept USD from the Central Bank.
Report on Mental Health of Migrant Workers by Thomas Reuters Foundation [here]
An article by Thomas Reuters Foundation reported the increasing requests for psychological support among migrant communities in Lebanon in the past few months following the lockdown and explosion. Support is reported to be needed mainly for severe cases including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and panic attacks, often requiring hospitalization.
