Special Case

News.

All nationalities in Lebanon have the right to own a property except Palestinian Refugees. In 2001 the Lebanese law No. 296 deprived Palestinian refugees from owning a real estate property using the “No settlement” slogan as a justification, although Palestinians in Lebanon have been refusing any option other than returning to Palestine.

Therefore, the “Campaign for Real Estate Property Ownership for Palestinian Refugees in Lebanon” is launched to call for this right and has a call to modify the amendment of the law thus enables Palestinian refugees to own property stressing on the slogan of the campaign ” my ownership doesn’t cancel my return”.
